I’m Rick Bacmanski…and please, just call me Rick, Mr. Bacmanski was my Dad…
I actually shot my very first Wedding in 1980, got hooked & have enjoyed being a part of Wedding Day excitement & fun ever since! I’ve been a Full-Time Professional Photographer in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York State for the last 24 years, specializing in Contemporary, Casual & Fun Photo-journalistic Wedding Photography, and when I’m not shooting Weddings, I frequently shoot a lot of Action Sports Photography. After 22 years in another completely different industry, I’ve been lucky enough to turn my passion, my hobby & God given talents, into my full time career. To date I have shot well over 700 Weddings, and I LOVE IT! I truly enjoy being a part of your Wedding Day…playing my very special role, while being surrounded by hundreds of your happy, smiling, loving family & friends, at beautiful locations & venues, with great food, music, laughter & fun times. It is a tough job, but someone has to do it!
In my Wedding Off-Season I’ve been the Official Team Photographer of the ECHL Elmira Jackals Professional Ice Hockey Club since 2000, when they came into existence. Well known events & personalities that I have had the pleasure to photograph: President Barack Obama at The White House – May 19, 2010, Senator & Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, NYS Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, NYS Governor Kathy Hochul, LPGA Golf, MLB Baseball, NHL Hockey, Roller Derby, NASCAR Racing, Indy Car Racing, to name just a few. I also enjoy capturing portraits of Individuals, High School Seniors, Family & Pets, & Executive/Professional Portrait Sessions, which are conveniently shot at my modern, personal 2500+ Sq. Ft. Studio and Offices building located on North Main Street, just outside of Historic Hanover Square in the Village of Horseheads in Upstate NY. Having my own business that I love, in a Profession in which I’m recognized as being very good at, located on Main Street in my own Hometown, is a very special gift that I am so lucky to be able to live out each and every day. Like I always say…”It Beats Working for a Living!”
I’m also available for other events such as Trash The Dress Events, Maternity Photo Sessions, Action Sports Photography of your Favorite Family Athlete, Special Holiday Gatherings, Anniversary Parties, Bar or Bat Mitzvah’s, Retirement Parties, Baptism’s, Confirmations, Funerals, Real Estate Photography, Aerial Photography, Graduations, Personal Family Pet Photos, Commercial/Industrial/Product Photography, Play’s, Dance and Theatre, Gymnastics, Freelance Photojournalism Assignments, Engagement Sessions (even if for some reason I am not shooting your Wedding!), and pretty much anything else that I might be able to capture for you with my camera, experience, passion and skill. In my Wedding Off-Season I’ve been the Official Team Photographer of the ECHL Elmira Jackals Professional Ice Hockey Club since 2000, when they came into existence. Well known events & personalities that I have had the pleasure to photograph: President Barack Obama at The White House – May 19, 2010, Senator & Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, NYS Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, NYS Governor Kathy Hochul, LPGA Golf, MLB Baseball, NHL Hockey, Roller Derby, NASCAR Racing, Indy Car Racing, to name just a few. I also enjoy capturing portraits of Individuals, High School Seniors, Family & Pets, & Executive/Professional Portrait Sessions, which are conveniently shot at my modern, personal 2500+ Sq. Ft. Studio and Offices building located on North Main Street, just outside of Historic Hanover Square in the Village of Horseheads in Upstate NY. Having my own business that I love, in a Profession in which I’m recognized as being very good at, located on Main Street in my own Hometown, is a very special gift that I am so lucky to be able to live out each and every day. Like I always say…”It Beats Working for a Living!”
I’m also available for other events such as Trash The Dress Events, Maternity Photo Sessions, Action Sports Photography of your Favorite Family Athlete, Special Holiday Gatherings, Anniversary Parties, Bar or Bat Mitzvah’s, Retirement Parties, Baptism’s, Confirmations, Funerals, Real Estate Photography, Aerial Photography, Graduations, Personal Family Pet Photos, Commercial/Industrial/Product Photography, Play’s, Dance and Theatre, Gymnastics, Freelance Photojournalism Assignments, Engagement Sessions (even if for some reason I am not shooting your Wedding!), and pretty much anything else that I might be able to capture for you with my camera, experience, passion and skill. I love more than anything else, working with Wedding Couples who are as excited at the creative possibilities that we might be able to create together, as I am. I’m Rick Bacmanski…and please, just call me Rick, Mr. Bacmanski was my Dad…
I actually shot my very first Wedding in 1980, got hooked & have enjoyed being a part of Wedding Day excitement & fun ever since! I’ve been a Full-Time Professional Photographer in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York State for the last 24 years, specializing in Contemporary, Casual & Fun Photo-journalistic Wedding Photography, and when I’m not shooting Weddings, I frequently shoot a lot of Action Sports Photography. After 22 years in another completely different industry, I’ve been lucky enough to turn my passion, my hobby & God given talents, into my full time career. To date I have shot well over 700 Weddings, and I LOVE IT! I truly enjoy being a part of your Wedding Day…playing my very special role, while being surrounded by hundreds of your happy, smiling, loving family & friends, at beautiful locations & venues, with great food, music, laughter & fun times. It is a tough job, but someone has to do it!
