Now that things have settled down and we are settling into married life (and what a great life it is!) we have had a chance to reflect on our wonderful wedding weekend. We have had our wedding photos for a number of weeks now and we just can't get enough of them. We are so proud to show them off to our friends and family. Their composition is excellent and the work you put in behind the scenes really shows. As we imagined, our favorite photos are the candids or "action" photos - that is really your where your photographic genius is apparent. You have captured expressions and scenes just as they happened allowing us to re-live the day by simply flipping through our extensive album. We really appreciated that you were both nearly invisible and there when we needed you to get a particular shot - we still don't know how you did it (maybe it had something to do with your all black attire?). We have been to many weddings where the photographer is a dominant element of the ceremony and reception. You, however, we able to do brilliant work while not overpowering the guests. One of our guests commented on your work ethic when he said " I looked up and saw your photographer at the end of the night climbing up in the rafters to get a shot". We thought that was funny at the time, and then we say the awesome fish-eye photo of all the guests on the dance floor and our jaws dropped - you really did climb on the ceiling! Thanks for your efforts!

You really are always looking for the interesting shots, never missing what is going on aside from the obvious. When I saw all the shots of Nicholas, stealing the spotlight, 3 feet behind me during the ceremony, I was amazed. I hadn't even been aware of what he was up to with my flower girl. But you didn't miss a thing.

When we were planning our wedding, we were very conscientious about cost and did not want to go into debt to pay for our wedding. When we first met with you, I was sold. I knew I wanted you to photograph our special day. I also knew that the photography was going to be our greatest expense. The one comment you made, that is so true, is that after the wedding day is over, you really have one thing to remember the day by...the pictures. I'm glad we didn't trust those memories to just anyone. And you certainly proved that you are worth the cost of your work.

There are so many things from the two days you spent with us that we had forgotten. Other things we never saw happen and they are now immortalized on film. I have never seen pictures that so vividly bring the event back to life. I feel like I am reliving the day every time I look through my album. We have pictures of friends and family members that we will cherish for a lifetime. So many people get uncomfortable when having their picture taken and end up making a goofy face. Because you are so inconspicuous, these people often didn't know they were being photographed and ended up looking terrific in the pictures.

I have had one sister and two brothers get married before me and I can honestly say that my photos are original and unique. From the angles of the shots to the artistic presentation, our wedding memories are truly one-of-a-kind. How many people can say that their wedding album has 550+ pictures in it? Or that their photographer spent 15-16 hours with them? The rehearsal and dinner, the beauty salon, our house, the church and the reception. You covered it all. I had almost forgotten about the tray of ziti falling on the floor at the rehearsal dinner. Until I saw the picture of the restaurant owner cleaning it up and the photo of my niece, who had been burned, with her tear stained face. These memories would have been lost with any other photographer because he/she wouldn't have been there the night before the wedding.

Thank you does not seem like enough to express how pleased and grateful we are. And we also feel like we've made a great friend. It's great when we see you at a store or around town, and you stop to talk or reminisce about our day. It means a lot that you invest so much of your time that you really get to know the couple. You have a gift for what you do and it shows by how much you enjoy your work. Anyone who has the pleasure of having you photograph their wedding day will never be disappointed. Thanks again.

We love all the candids. You were able to capture personalities, not just pictures. We also think the slideshow is so much better than a wedding video which we opted not to have. The pictures of all the kids are adorable. Those are going to make great gifts!

I have been in 9 weddings prior to my own and remember the photographer often making everyone miserable, constantly being in your face, and making you stop what you're doing to have your picture taken.
